Got this in change, there are four areas around the rim with these raised areas.( one faces the opposite direction)what causes this? What is it? 2000-Nickelwhat causes this2000-NickelThanks

It is a die dent/gouge. Looks like it had contact from another die and it made that area dented. When coins are struck it show as a raised area. I've seen this before.
