NGC, huh? From the pics I think they'd give it a 64.

Nice Morgan, MS 63-64.
The contact marks below the eye on the cheek, eyebrow, chin and neckline might keep it from reaching 64. Is that a horizontal scratch left of the ear on the coin or slab?

I would say they gave it a MS-64+ (Or MS-64*, I can't remember if they give a star or a +)

I will go with MS-65. NGC gives both * and +. + for high end of the grade and * for eye appeal. It is possible for a coin to receive both + and a *.

I want to say 64, but not sure without seeing this in hand. I think I see swirl/whiz marks from a halfazz cleaning

MS65 I don't see what would keep this coin from the 65 grade, super clean cheek and fields, no major hits anywhere on the coin. Good color and luster.

A few dings on the cheek and a slight scratch horizontal from the ear. So 63 is my guess.

That smooth and creamy cheek gets a 65 in my book.

I think it would take a dog of a coin of this date/mm to grade anything under a 65 and I don't see that with this coin so I am going to guess 65 and could possibly be a 66
