If you are thinking of buying some I will send them to you plus some others for free. 4 cents of value there.

Sorry, I thought one is 1967. Then the 1977 one is just face value

If you take the six off & put it on the other coin, it'll be a 1967. Or vice versa.

enworb Posted - Today :2 Hrs 29 Min ago -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any particular reason you're asking? WOOHOO, about time, thanks enworb..yeah there is..I was playing to see what people said And I wanted to see if anyone said anything about them being cleaned..so I've done a good job I got given a heap of 1 & 2 cents ages ago and a small hand full have this black tar type stuff so I've been playing with different stuff to see what turns out ok..so here's a pic of the tar (far left) then to the right are the previous pics (silvo) to the right of that are top pic is brake cleaner below that is co-contact cleaner then far right are not touched..nice and I'll have some more pics later as I have some in alcohol ATM and I'll be trying some other stuff I've got floating around as well..I figure what have I got to loose when they have tar on them anyway

a short time in an alkaline degreaser will work, but not over night or longer like I did, and dont rub just rinse with pressure, it was the wiping/rubbing that removed the toning in the ones I did. right now I have some soaking in de mineralized water, and it seems to be getting very cloudy.

Be careful with which chemical you mix together AJ or you may need a new roof on your house If it is only tar a mix of diesel and petrol will take it off mate

Assuming the top one second from the right is the one with brake cleaner I think that worked the best at preserving the toning.
