OK being new here I decided to buy $15 worth of bank rolls
Here is what I got so far from searching

17 wheat cents oldest being 1944 x3
6 Canadian
for my collection got everything from 1975 to present

This being my first experience was just curious how I did. I am still sorting for variations trying to find out what to look for.

Thanks
Dennis

If you enjoyed it, you did great! I average about 10 wheats per $25, so on that front you did really well too.

I average less than 10 wheats per $25, so you got a nice batch!

Glad you found those Wheats. I occationaly take a bag of coins back to the bank and throw in a 1944 Cent just for the fun of it. Really sort of a common coin. You may have found one of the ones I threw in. Keep on looking. It's fun.

I'd have to agree with you. I did a box last night and got 8 wheats, which I was really excited to get. You must live somewhere near me.

First of all, to CC

Well, feel free to post your results by starting a forum.

By the way, did you find any Indian cents and Magnetic Cents? Keep an eye on them.

I find about 20 wheats per $25 usually. but 17 is still above my average for $15 worth, so nice job!

Congrats on the finds!

Now go back and get some more and report what you found. It'll be interesting to hear how it compares.

I use a different bank to drop my coins off as opposed to the same one I buy them at, to reduce the risk of getting the same coins I just searched, but it depends upon how often you go though.
