I have heard cuba has two different currencies CUP and CUC. So which one is this coin? Or is it both?
Two-Cuban-Coins.

And I have this silver.

Two-Cuban-Coins.

I would like to know more about this. First of all is it real or fake?

Real or fake? Most likely real.

A "national" currency and a "convertible" currency?

The following links are a good place to start your research:

Coin #2

This is a list of all the coins described on "numista"
for Cuba.

The top coin is of the "convertible peso" series.

The second one is from the times of the First (pre-Castro) Republic, they had only one type of coinage.

Thanks both of you. I couldn't find any pictures of cuban coin pesos. so I couldn't be sure if convertible pesos have a different design or not.

And about the silver coin. I ve bought it just for the silvers price. thats why I can't be sure.

Thanks again.
