Strange-Coin..

I found this coin while browsing. Other than what looks like Roman legends, I have no clue what the coin is. Apparently, it was found in the Germany region.

Does anyone know what it is?

I have zero clue as to what it is. My guess, if it's not an official issue, is that it's some sort of privately made ceremonial token or something. But like I said I have no clue; I've never seen this coin before.

I've never seen this coin before either. But then again, there are so many coins I've never seen since I haven't been collecting very long.

Some thoughts about this coin are that it could have been some type of medallion made by those that struck some of the cruder barbarous coins. That's just speculation and not in any way proposed as a theory. I know it wouldn't hold up, more than likely.

Thank you! If we rotate the obverse counterclockwise until the line is at the bottom, the type appears to be a horse head. I'm not sure this is a horse head and I can't find the type to confirm it. There is usually little demand for small provincials or puppet states so you don't get many listings in the online sales venues. This is a coin I would buy or trade for if I happened across one. Rhometalkes is hard to search for because there is little consensus on how to spell his name.

No, it isn't a horse head, but empty throne.
