Another coin that arrived this week. Described as Thrace, Apollonia Pontika drachm 5-4th C. BC., 17mm, 2.75gr, Obv. Gorgoneion with tongue protruding, Rev. Anchor; A in left field, crayfish in right field. It's a small coin, but the relief details stand out well.

There are signs of silver crystallization; I have no doubt it's genuine. It came from Lodge Antiquities.
Thanks! I also took a different approach with this coin. Instead of a DW soak, I dipped a small, very soft paintbrush in DW and lightly worked it over the relief--not scrubbing like a toothbrush would do. A few minutes of this brightened up the relief enough to stand out from the fields.
