I just received these in a 2006 Mint set.
Have I gone crazy and spent $30 on a set of the highest mintage years just to get 2 coins that have been removed from circulation in the nineties or was it a wise move because they are after all still 1 and 2 cent coins and they will have the lowest mintage of them all even the 1968.
Considering that I have purchased god knows how many mint sets just to acquire the " mint sets only" issues of decimal coinage, This set was the cheapest so far and all the other coins were great to replace the coins I got from circulation in my other albums

Not crazy at all trout.

The 2006 mint set was always the one I was most interested in getting. I really miss those little blighters.

It does beg the question of what they are going to do for the upcoming 50th anniversary.

More of the 1c and 2c plus non-proof round 50c perhaps?
