You need an Overton book Chris. "Early Half Dollar Die Varieties". If you get one try to find the 3rd edition. IMO

(Mine is the 4th edition. The 3rd edition is HARD to find!)

Moe145, I found the coin zip site just before you posted it. Your right it is a helpful site. I was able to id my halves, except for the 1828. The one that is pictured is
O-101-R1.
