I picked these up at an auction sight unseen for $32.00 a piece. All I knew is they were to come from a 1921 uncirculated roll. I could of took the whole roll for 32 each, but not knowing what they looked like I hesitated. I saw some of the coins others received from the roll and many were higher grade than these and a few had very attractive rainbow toning.

I'll post different pics when I get home. Not trying to be impatient just trying to figure out why no one will reply.

There are luster breaks in a couple places on both of them, like next to the neck on the one on the right in the pictures. What usually causes this?

Also are there any VAMS that would increase value on these?

Here is another shot of them. I'm fine if the responses are AU-50 details/harshly cleaned on both of them, just would like some opinions. I plan on selling one and keeping one and would like to accurately represent the coin on ebay.

I like both of them! The toned one is probably MS63 and the brilliant one is around MS60-62 range IMO. The toned one might stretch for MS64 as the cheek is so clean, neither coin looks cleaned at all. Good buy at the price you say you got them at.

Thank you, westcoin, for your response. I was actually hoping to hear from you on these because I've noticed you are normally very accurate on the "guess the grade" posts. I had them at 63-64 and 62 as well but I'm still fairly new at grading.
Rest in Peace
