I will be happy to guide you through your studies. About the 1898 date: it is the last "8" that looks funny. It is a little smaller than on the genuine example posted by SeatedNut. My guess is most have traveled that road at least once. Why not post a list of what you want? You could buy/sell/trade here. At least the coin will be real.
