Hi, does anyone know if such a thing as a catalog or some kind of guide explaining the currency exists ? I don't mind if it's in Spanish...

A brief monetary history:

Spanish currency, till 1821
Escudo = 2 Pesos = 16 Reales (Soles) = 544 Maravedis, 1821-1863
Sol = 100 Centavos, 1863-1901
Inca = 10 Soles = 1.000 Reales, 1880-1882
Libra = 10 Soles, 1901-1985
Inti = (1.000 Soles) 1985-1991
Sol = (1.000.000 Intis) from1991

Thank you for your efforts guys. I am looking for detailed information not provided in the standard catalog of paper money especially about the newer banknotes of Peru, the different prefixes, printers, other types of varieties, and information about replacement notes (is the prefix still Y ?). I'm headed to Lima soon and I'll go get a bundle of UNC notes at the central bank and I'd like to know what to look for :)
