I know the pictures are horrible. I am wondering if you can tell enough with this pictures. I have a lot of other coins I want to show but I'm afraid you won't be able to tell anything with the quality of camera I have.

Can't really tell from those pictures, but that type error is usually caused by grease in the die.

EDIT - that's a larger area, but the error may be like the "In God We Rust" errors also noted in other threads.

Better pictures are definitely needed.

The only thing visible at all is the word TRUST. The rest is completely blank.

It's caused from a debris filled die.
Most say grease on the die is the cause.
I like to say debris as no one can positively
prove that grease was the debris. I have found
coins with actual spots of grease still around the area
in question. Attached is one of a few debris filled die
coins. It's a 1994. With a 10X loupe I can discern the date.
Also some around Liberty area.

lol well if you have tried and tried to take pictures of coins only to smack yourself in the head repeatedly from the failures then you know how I feel. This is like showing a caveman how to make fire in my book.
