Would this be worth it to get graded? But the fantastic thing about this coin is that now this coin tops off my modern set of clips: LMC, Jefferson, Jefferson War Nickel, rosie, washington, now Kennedy... Well, I suppose it could be a '65 on a '64 planchet, but what are the odds of that? I don't think there's any reason to get it graded/certified. It's a common date coin, so 100% of the value here is in the error. That's a big clip, and it's obviously genuine (clear Blakesley effect). For a 10+% clip, is somebody going to pay a lot more for a MS63 over a MS62? Maybe if there was a possibility of it making 66 or 67 it might be worth grading, but it's not close to that kind of grade. Report this Post to the Staff
