Poll Question
So now some people have shared where they go to find coins, like estate sales or ebay or a local coin show or shop... but how did you find these places in the first place?

How did you come to trust the seller enough to go find them?

My scope has been pretty narrow. I've just been looking on ebay. But maybe I should be trying other things. I've been to estate sales and garage sales without much luck. But maybe I'm looking in the wrong place...

Point taken mysilveryears - but I guess I'm after (to help narrow the focus) the most successful of these avenues for you, or to look at it another way, where you spend the most time looking.

This is just for fun. Thanks all! I sincerely appreciate your participation!

As I said in the other poll, I like coin shows. It started about 25 years ago when I saw an ad for the local show in the newspaper.

Some of my best finds have happened by pure accident, by going to new towns, antique malls, pawn shops, and just flat out determination

Basically the same except garage/yard/estate sales, flea markets and coin shows.

How were those places advertised or how did you see them? You just stumbled upon them driving by or were they advertised in craigslist or some other medium?

Thanks again for all your help!
