I have a 1961 Charlottetown silver dollar and I've heard about a mistake of it missing a dot in the
T.S. of the coin. Mine however has an extra one, a extra dot stamped ontop of the bottom portion of the S. I took come pictures but lack the proper equipment to show it off nicely but I assure you its easily visible with the eye or a x10 magnifier. I also am sure its not a chip or wear its raised and exactly the same shape as the first dot. Anyone got info on this?

P.S.
I'm new to coin collecting, my grandfather left me a collection I took some photo's of a few if anyone knows how I can get them roughly graded so I know if any are worth officially grading or special treatment. http://www.4shared.com/folder/KURHX..._online.html

Thank you for your time.

No dot is worth more. More dots not sure. 1964 is the date?

Oh man You are right my mistake. its 1964, I guess I misread it from the upside down picture and my brain auto translated.
Sorry about that, thanks for correction sadly I can't change the Topic heading at this stage :(

However I take the lack of much response as a sign its probably nothing to write home about. :)
