I don't know if this is a fairly common thing as I'm new to note collecting. But, I went to the ATM and pulled out 200 bucks. What I got was 200$ in twenties that were all crisp and went up in consecutive serial number order. I know it is nothing special, I just thought it was cool and thought I'd share.

Now if I could just get consecutive 0000000001 and so on

Yes it is cool to get nice crisp consecutive bills in your change or in your case from the ATM especially when most of the bills we see in circulation are usually beat up rags but it is not uncommon. The trick is to find them with fancy serial numbers not just low serial numbers. If you find a crisp RADAR or repeater then we will see the smile on your face. Enjoy the hunt.
Rest in Peace

New notes are used in ATM when possible, because they're less likely to jam.

It is nice to get consecutive CU notes. I usually save a few of each series.
