Woah, wonder what that baby would look like if he never decided to make it a pocket piece. lol. Can't grade gold very well though.

Yeah, I think he had it at home. Brought it to me in his pocket. Still has mint luster on it, but she's been banged up a bit. For sure.

I think it would grade out MS61/62 range though a bit of rub I see on the reverse might throw it into an AU53 holder, either way it's a nice eagle.

I could see this either grading AU-58 or MS-61. I would lean towards AU-58. Nice coin!
