Came across some coinage from British West Africa, wondering if anyone has a mintage / values website bookmarked somewhere? Or any info they could post would be appreciated.

Here's Numista

Here's World Coin Gallery

And here's NGC. Do a "new price guide search" for other types/denominations.

British West Africa issued holed coins in the name of Edward V111.
There are seven coins altogether that were issued by British Possessions in the name of Edward V111.
All have a central hole, and none of them are all that valuable, even in uncirculated.
I have managed to acquire the complete set.

Zohar444,

I think it's odd that on the George V coin the second line of the label has the KM#, whereas on the Edward VIII coin the second line says 'Edward VIII' and the KM# isn't listed. They seem to be the same style of holder.

Forgive my ignorance about these slabs but I was wondering if anyone else noticed that or knows:
Is that part of the label usually the KM#?
How significant does a detail need to be to warrant bumping the KM# for some other factoid?

Nice pix, btw. :)

If a coin has unique or quirky qualities they usually mention it on the slab. Bearing the name of Ed VIII would totally qualify.
