I collect this coin type and its amazing how many of the Arles coins have the mintmark off the flan or so close to the edge they are impossible to 100% ID.

I think (not double checked) they are also the only mint the make this coin using both the Latin and Greek character systems to show the workshop.

Arles busts are though some of the most interesting to my eye, the best ones in my opinion of this series are from Aquileia, it seems a lot of pride went into those coins unlike the often rubbish ones that came out of Rome. Odd considering how close the two mints were to each other. Not many of these Aquileia coins are around and they can get pricey.
