so I have a question:

what would be the ratio for trading Peace dollars for Modern Commemorative Dollars?

I was thinking 1:1.5? or 1:2?

As for silver content they are the same tho the commemoratives were not issued for circulation and should all be in mint state. There are some of the commemorative that sell for close to melt but tend to be tarnished, stained or otherwise compromised in some way due to poor handling or storage. for these coins your ratios could apply.

If you mean 1 Peace for 2 commems, no deal. The commems contain more silver due to better condition, and have vastly lower mintages.

If you mean 2 Peace for 1 commem, let's talk.

sorry, I meant to say 2 Peace dollars to one commemorative.. I would think that 2 should be enough for a mod. comm. UNC, not proof. aside from the low mintage ones... you think people here would be doen for that?

I think you could do it at a ratio closer to 1:1 for the some of the more common commemoratives which can be found for a small premium over melt.

well, if I can, id like to do a 1:1 across the board.

im looking for all UNC, NO proof and anything that falls in that category. obviously lower mintage are out of the question...
