The '67s are beautiful coins every collector should have a set. There are over a million PL and dealer made sets out there, they are basically a bullion value item.

Thanks DBM
I agree, I really like the 1967's. I am not sure which I like more, the quarter or the fifty cent piece.

I've seen a lot of these sets for sale on ebay (quite pricey). The value of the set as with anything is what someone is willing to pay for it. I am currently working on completing my 1967 set, and personally I like the action in the nickel. That being said I do enjoy all coins in the series.

I find the '67s to still be special, found a couple of cents,a nickel and a dime in change since Christmas.Haven't found a quarter in years and it seems the wolf (my favorite circulation coin ever) became extinct in circulation a couple of years after it was minted.

I have a couple of the OGP sets with the $20 gold... These are my favorites, however, in the case the coins sit loose. They are all nicely toned except for the gold, but I still haven't figured out why they packed them this way. If someone has more information, I'd really like to know more.

I like the 1967 series. These were the first coins in my collection when I was kid.
I have always liked the artwork of Alex Colville. When I first graduated college I lived in the same small town and would see him and his wife out and about.
The nickel and 50 cent piece are my favorite.

I have two red box sets with the silver medallion,I took them out a few years ago,one set had toned nicely and the other ghastly.I put the nicely toned set in 2x2s and left the ugly set in the box.I guess the mint was more concerned with attractive packaging than preservation.

No kidding about the mint and preservation....
I had a 1973 double dollar set with they kindly packaged in a PVC velveteen case The coins were destroyed. The cent was so badly corroded that pieces of the red velvet was fused onto the coin. Bullion value only for the dollar. I recently bought a 72 set as part of a bulk deal. It was equally bad....luckily I had only assumed face value for the coins in that one!
Those that own the old double dollar sets should remove the coins.....although it is probably too late now anyway....

Just remember that at $34/oz spot..the silver content ( is say 66 and earlier) would be worth $37 $20 for the dollar $10 for the .50 $5 for the .25 and $2 for the .10 They usually sell for that and about a $6 premium for having the set and tend to increase in value the older the set is. Hope this is what u are looking for.
