Look for CAM's on 1992 and 1992-D. WAMS on 1998,1999,2000.

The Wide AM design is normal until the end of 1992.
The Close AM design is normal from the beginning of 1993.

Check ALL coins (not just the listed ones) for any anomaly to this rule. Someone had to have discovered these varieties at one time or another, and THEY weren't using specific lists of what had already been found.

Would it even be theoretically possible under any circumstances to have a CAM before 1992?

Possible to have a CAM before 1992? No.

Possible to have a WAM after 1992 other than 98,99, or 2000? Yes, but no confirmed examples seen yet. One serious report of a 96 but coin reported lost before it could be confirmed.
