Hello everyone! Has anyone ever heard of a 1971 Kennedy half dollar with a letter C stamped on his cheek? I have been collecting coins since I was a little girl and I jabbed not found any information on a misprint. Can any one give me any info...thanks

Counter stamp for sure. If you hunt long enough you will find all sorts of letters in various locations

It's almost certainly something that happened post-minting. Somebody stamped a C into the coin after it entered circulation (it's called a counterstamp).

It definitely sounds like a counterstamp to me. I once found a 1973 Lincoln Cent in a roll with Kennedy's head stamped in the field. It looks nice so I kept it.
Rest in Peace
