As a circulated common date Peace S$1, melt is what it is worth when silver is on an upswing. These are melting at close to $29 tonight so that's what you should pay.

Melt sounds about right, though I'd never actually melt one, I do like buying them for melt or less.

my opinion . . any time you pick up a problem free Peace or Morgan at melt you've done well

I have a really tough time grading Peace dollars. I never know for sure if it's a typically weak strike or a worn coin. With this one I'm guessing it's a combination of the two so I'll say VF-30.
