rookie question
do dealers usually charge the same premium per US silver coin - 1 oz? does not matter if you buy one US silver eagle or 500(monster box)?

i thought they charge less premium for a monster box

I suppose that would depend on each individual dealer. I have a great relationship with my local dealer and I'm very loyal to him. As a rule of thumb, the more money I spend with him, the sweeter the deal he gives me.

You can ALWAYS get a box cheaper, if your wholesaler charges the same price for 1 or 500 find a different supplier. A box would run you close to $19K today. Not but 8 weeks ago I had a guy offer to sell me another one for $15K cash but was when silver was $28 something and I passed, I want to shoot myself for that now.

Yeah, I know the feeling. Thing is, if you do shoot yourself, you have to do it in style... with a silver bullet! Otherwise, just hang in there and it will pass, other opportunities will come along, and life will go on as usual.

Like cwb8539 says, it depends on the dealer. My dealer sells silver at spot checked minute of the sale. Whenever I go in with a set price of what I want to spend he rounds up on what he gives me. For example I picked up $600 90% today at spot which ended up totaling around $597 so he threw in an extra quarter.
