now is that cliped from a bond or is it a seprate note


at thebottom is the bond. I do not have any price guides for confederate notes and Bonds .I am always interested in Prices..


I have some they were cliped from a bond Like This, I have a bond like this as well it is hugh

yes the reverse is blank. it is a seperate note. it is a very small note 1.5" x 3"

It is a clipped bond.

sorry I meant to say it was seperated from a bond. so I guess it is called a clipped note.

I have never heard them refered to as coupon. They are actually a reciept for a pyment against a loan. proof of payment....

actually It seems to be relatively common to find them in peoples possesion as well Where in NY I am From PA.

coldshot did you mean grandson of us president tyler? jefferson davis was the only confederate president. I did not know it was his grandsons signature. I wonder if it makes it worth any more?
