Yes I agree,
It is a neat note, and I guess it may get some of the kids on here excited. But for me it's not the number that's important, it's the note itself.
I collect US Currency, not currency numbers. I did not find it at a bank, I bought it, but I did not and will not pay more for a note just because it has a star or a special number.
The note was added to my NBN denom. collection and it completed it. So now I have the 5., 10., 20., 50., and 100. NBN collection complete, time for me to move on to the next phase of currency collecting. I would be just as happy with this note if it had a standard type number.
In fact I just realized that I have a radar number Large size 1918 FRBN $ 1.00 Spread Eagle note, I'll have to take some photos of it, did not buy it because of the number, bought it because of what it was, also have the $ 2.00 Battleship note, now I need to find a nice 5., 10., and 20., to add to the large size FRBN collection.
If anyone has one or more of what I need I would be more than happy to try and buy it from you, I cant trade off any of my duplicates toward what I need but I do have enough post to maybe buy what you have with run of the mill Cash.
Regards
Bill C.
