Just like the 50 cents rolls, does that mean the niobium wolf is actually sold out? Of the 4 coins in this series, I think the wolf moon is the best-looking.

I agree, the wolf is the best (art work). Can't wait to have it in my hand.

I think that your suspicion of a sell out is correct. It's been on the last chance page for a few day. Also agree that the third coin is the nicest. I have to say that I find this series misleading though. There was a subscription available where you got one wooden display case that holds the four coins. Mintage was 7500 and it sold out last year. Then there are the individual coins with separate cases and the posted mintage for each is also 7500. That means there are really 15,000 of each coin yet the mint suggests that there are only 7500. Add to that, if you subscribed you got one case but if you bought the coins separately, you got four cases. The total cost of the coins was the same whether you bought the set or bought them individally.

is that the trend, the mint goes temporarily out of stock before they declare themselves officially out of stock? can anyone speak to that?

That's what happened with the fifty cent rolls but.... Whomever controls the RCM Facebook page is suggesting that these will be back 'in stock' at some point.

Unless I am mistaken, the woman who controls the facebook page is the same woman whom we call "the mint rep" here.

If it is really temporarily out of stock, why disable the add to cart button? So if I'm looking to buy this coin, I have to check the website everyday?

I called my rep yesterday and placed an order for an additional one. I have the 'four' set subscribed for, but wanted another - as of yesterday, they were still available.

It's listed as sold out on mint.caApparently, "temporarily out of stock" really means "sold out" or it means you have to call to place an order.

colonialacres sold out this coin as well, they had 14 this morning. I went to RCM vancouver shop, they still have it, but it appears to be just a silver toonie with cool image, I still can't convince myself spending 130+ on a sterling silver toonie with wooden box

#38 would be great if it was from a dragon coin. I don't think the wolf coin would apply unless it is used as a lucky charm?

Curious. Has anyone received this coin from the mint yet? I have the subscription and the last tracking entry is 'processing as of January 7th'. i.e. TWO months ago. And I have two other orders for different coins showing 'processing' as of March 9th and 10th. It seems there is more processing going on at the RCM these days than at the Cheez Whiz factory.

I'm still waiting for my order of the niobium wolf as well. Don't understand the holdup when many of the dealers are already selling them.

I got my wolf moon coin today at RCM vancouver shop. it's beautiful! although a full ounce would be fantastic. colonialacres has them back in stock, but raised price to 129. they also raised prices of 1/10 gold and 1/2 silver dragon coins
