Thanks a ton! I went on the wiki article when I first heard of the coins but didn't get all the way through it. Reading what you posted yeah I would agree that the "no two coins are exactly alike" helps drive the price a bit.

My understanding is 7500 total for both the full moon and the Gof7. A percentage of the coins are set aside for subscription orders. It's like the 20 for 20 coins.

Mintage for the Niobium Wolf is 7,500, but mintage for the Group of Seven is 7,000 (subscriptions included).

If there are 7500 total I wonder how many box's or sets there are.
It would be nice if the mint let people know.

I ordered mine from the mint on 23 Feb. Just got told yesterday (after waiting 10 weeks) that they're out of stock and have cancelled my order.

Can the mint do that? Cancel your order after all this time?

@kuh_85: You should demand one dino, one 50-cent titanic, and a roll of 50-cents for waiting so long for nothing.

That is ridiculous. I've seen dealers do that but the mint?! Totally unacceptable.

If you can, try a post office. They still have them at a couple of the outlets near me. Though I wouldn't blame you if you swear off mint products.
