http://westchestercoinclub.org/It's a one day, once a year event. I only learned about it by lucky last minute word of mouth. The show was small and the room was way too small for the level of activity. Lotta elbowing and butt-bumping and display cases on top of cases. It was hard to get a seat at the good tables. Variety and quality seemed to be well above average. There was something for every taste, even the die-hard darksiders like moi. I'll post my buys in the 'latest acquisitions' thread. Were you there ? ? ?

Cool, looks fun! Man, you Americans are lucky. Living in Quebec, I'm about 15 miles from nowhere.

I would imagine in Canada the place closest to nowhere would be Alert, Nunavut

I sought out members of the sponsoring local club to ask them about that very issue. From that convo and others, my take is, these clubs are super-low budget groups and they are pretty much too cheap to spring for local advertising. Or they are venerable 'old boy' groups who are indifferent to expansion. "Oh it was in Coin World" one gentleman said. Well, I get too much expensive paper clutter in this house as it is, and have yet to add that pub. And it wasn't listed HERE-- an easily corrected oversight! Nor was the other good local show I attended recently. I am not into joining more clubs, but at least they have mailing lists for non-members if you go to the events.

The Indiana (Pa) Coin Club is having their show this coming Saturday. One day event, held twice a year (spring and fall). They have always held it a Best Western Inn, and it always looked pretty much like the one above. No room, no seats. This year they are having at a local ice arena, so there should be more room.
