I don't know what it is with me, but I keep getting great deals on coins. I have consistently found sellers selling good coins for several percentage points UNDER melt!

I have been roll hunting thousands of dollars worth a week and buying up a bunch of silver. Lets hope it keeps going up, but even if it doesn't I'll save it for my grand kids, because this is really fun to me!

I love this forum :)

Depends on what you're looking for. I can probably be okay with selling a bit under spot for some of what I get.

I'd tread lightly purchasing a key date morgan at spot. Caveat emptor.

Well, I'm also purchasing some other coins as well. Including the 20th anniversary silver eagle set, a bunch of Barber halves and quarters, some barber, rosie, and Mercury dimes, among others. The seller is selling for silver value and was looking for premiums on the 1884CC and anniversary set but I'm a good bargainer :)

All sorts of possibilities for your luck.
1. Being new some dealers may be using good salesmanship to create a new and steady customer
2. Also, might just be what is called beginners luck
3. You could just be a really smart buyer
4. Everything you've bought is a fake
5. Everything you've purchased was from a robbery
Noticed you mentioned you love this forum. Guess we all or we wouldn't be here but how does this forum explain your great purchases?

Carl, yes :) Indeed, you have all valid points. Though I've only been into silver for a few years, there could be some potential problems. I am in general a very frugal person and I wait until I find a good deal to purchase.

Yes I could be getting bad coins as I'm not perfect and whatnot, but I'm very careful and consider everything you said when buying. They indeed are not directly from the mint, but I can assure you that if you looked at my collection you would say that I'm a very smart buyer :)
