I currently live in Georgia, but will be moving to Charlotte, NC or the surrounding areas, I am curious to know if there is any one chain of banks better than another to consider for buying boxes of half dollars at? Wells Fargo, BofA, regional banks, or credit unions?

Of course I do not want anyone to give up there "honey hole" but if you could direct me to the chain that allows you buy them, not the branch, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank a lot- new hunter- wildspinx.

Wildspinx, if I may reply, I'd like to say that there is no such bank. You will have to find out on your own through trial and error. One particular bank may sell coin, and the same bank, different branch a mile away may not. Some banks will sell for a fee, some with no fee. Some banks may not sell at all because of greedy buying and dumping by other CRH'ers. One thing that I'd like to add is, never dump at the same location (or even different branch)of bank. It will surely tick off the tellers, and you may get your own dumps back later. Good luck, FFD
