Two interesting coins struck from the same obv. die. One has Tooling marks, other has tooling marks and is struck through (prob. grease) a foreign substance.
Hi there, great to see those examples. I posted a similar '96 with the tool damage on 02/10/2012. I didn't know what it was at the time, but I was pointed in the right direction. It's good to see the damage more clearly defined here.
