All four of the 1996 Olympic coins have a low mintage. I would consider them the keys to the present, modern commemorative UNC dollar set. 1996 Olympic reverse (same reverse for all four coins) 1996 D Olympic Tennis Mintage 15,983 1996 D Olympic Paralympic (wheelchair) Mintage 14,497 1996 D Olympic Rowing Mintage 15,258 1996 D Olympic High Jump Mintage 15,697

GR58, This is my favorite current thread by far. Congrats on the set. Did you not go for the half dollars too? Did you get all of the mints of the UNC coins for your set or one of each design?
Also, I'd like to say I love your photos and seeing the set laid out like this- you get a great idea for the coins and the finish and seeing them in context of one another is a blessing.

Thanks for your comment cc99999. 1983 and 1984 are the only two years they made Unc dollars at different mint for the same years, and I do have all the P/D/S for those years. I do have some of the half dollars, mostly becuase some years I bought the two coin sets. I think someday I might complete the half dollars too. I am off to breakfast .. and a coin shop or two .. y'all enjoy the day

That is one amazing accomplishment and you must have a huge budget, since some of those Olympic coins from 95/96 are quite expensive.
Congrats on the awesome job and good luck in completing your next set! And it is amazing to complete a set like that in such a short amount of time too.
I look forward to seeing the rest of the photos.

Smithsonian is one of the best. Love that coin. What's the montage on the 1992 baseball commemorative?

Do you have a third Dansco to cover the later years? A standard 38mm Dollar album works great.

I am lucky enough to help out at a coin shop a few days a week. Also there are several coin shops in my area. And we have several coin shows a year. When I am trying to complete a set, I make a list of the coins I need, with greysheet prices. Then I will check all coin shops and shows and ebay, when I find coins I need at or below grey sheet I purchase them.
