I have been working on putting a set of uncirculated commemorative dollar for over a year now. I was happy to get the last three this past week. Not counting the 2012's that I will order in the next week. A while back muddler posted his complet set of proof dollars, which looked very nice .. so I thought I would share my UNC's. I have been trying to get pictures of them all. It might take me a few days to post them all. For 1983 and 1984 I have all three P/D/S to save time will just post one of each. 1983 P/D/S Olympics (Discus Thrower) Mintage 1983 P 294,543 1983 D 174,014 1983 S 174,014 Designer -- Elisabeth Jones 1984 P/D/S Olympics (Olympic Gateway) Mintage 1984 P 217,954 1984 D 116,675 1984 S 116,675 Designer -- Robert Graham 1986 D Statue of Liberty Mintage 723,635 Designer -- John Mercanti (obverse) and Mathew Peloso (reverse) 1987 P Constitution Mintage 451,629 Designer -- Patricia Lewis Verani Edited by GR58 03/06/2012 8:32 pm

Can't wait to watch the progress of your pictures and this thread in general. I believe it was a post of yours from a while back which inspired me to start a modest unc commemorative dollar collection!
If you don't mind me asking, how do you store/ display your coins?

I think this is good for tonight. There still is over 40 to go. I was getting some of the information from a commemorative online site, while I was posting I saw the some of the information was different then Red Book. I hope that I got the correct mintage and designers right. I think I will stop posting designer, unless I am pretty sure. Thanks again for the replies .. I hope you all enjoy the set as much as I do.

Quote: What's next? commems - I was thinking I would slow down a little .. but I don't think that will happen. I do think I will search ebay for the 5 more Roosevelt coins I need 1949, 1949 S, 1951 S, 2009 S and 2010 S I also started my 7070 gold page in December, so need 7 more gold coin. Always have a eye out for upgrades to my other 7070 coins. I do want to start a high grade slabbed Ike set. I also try to put a roll or two of silver dimes away a week .... so I guess I don't have time to slow down but thanks for asking ..

The 1996 Olympic coin have some of the lowest mintage and most expensive coins for the set. There are 8 different dollars, four came out in 1995 and four for 1996. All four 1995 dollars have the same reverse and all four 1996 coins have the same reverse, to save posting time I will only upload one reverse pic for each year. 1995 Olympic reverse 1995 D Olympic Gymnastics Mintage 42,497 1995 D Paralympics (blind runner) Mintage 28,649 1995 D Olympic Track and Field Mintage 24,976 1995 D Olympic Cycling Mintage 19,662
