I received coins from a friend in Egypt today--Thanks Amr!

They came in really cool packaging

3-Beautiful-Coins-From-Egypt!

Inside were 3 great coins--a King Farouk 2 Piastres from 1944, plus a 50 Piastre and 1 Pound coins from 2007.
I'll post more photos later.

Ah, ancient Egypt themed coins are always nice. Nice stamps and postcards too. (If those two are postcards )

Here is a picture of the 1944 2 Piastre coin, picturing King Farouk. It's a great coin!

Apollo, that would be my guess too--the British occupied Egypt for a while and the pound was a stable currency.

Those two are great looking coins but no holding back. Lets see a closeup of the third coin you received.

It takes time to take pictures the coin deserves.
Here is the 2007 50 Piastres--isn't it great!

Great details and those details are precise!
King Tut's death mask on the coin is almost exactly true to the original.
