The clear plastic rolls are mint fresh rolls. I usually just check the end coins to see what year the rolls are from. Most likely it will be a solid box of the same year, but there is a chance that the rolls could be mint rolls for earlier years as well if it was from someones collection. I believe the clear wraps started in 1995? I keep a few mint rolls for myself and return the rest for a different box.
For the green and white rolls...check the end coins and see if they are different dates. They could be from the coin distribution center in your area. In my area...Northern Ontario...the Distribution center rolls I get are white with red lettering. Once you determine if they are random dates rolls...to search them or not is up to you. I base my decision on which denomination the coins are. For Distribution center rolls I will only search Cents (Penny) and 10 cent (dimes). I have searched several of each denomination of coinage from Distribution center and in my area I found that the quarters had nothing older then 1975 and that nickels had nothing older then 1982 with 95% of the boxes searched were 2000+. You never know though. Search what you like. You never know what is waiting for you in the next roll.
