darn this thread. I told myself I would NOT get this coin. Over and over I told myself. Then Hobbes' picture above appeared and I thought, wow, that looks nice and it really shows Atlantic Canada (my homeland). But still I said no, I won't get this coin. Stay strong, I said. ...and now it's about to sell out. Literally, last chance. What to do!? What to do!? But of course you all know where this is going... I totally caved and just ordered it. I feel so dirty

Hi Penny4me, The '98 SML w/ Titanic would be a great compliment to the $10 coin. Hopefully, you can find someone near Windsor that could trade without incurring shipping costs between the two of you. For me it would be at least 10$ each way so not really practical. I'm not in the habit of advertising for dealers but as an alternative for you, Gatewestcoins.com out of Winnipeg have the 2012 coin for 58.95USD and shipping to the US is $10. So you're net premium over the RCM coin only price would be around 4 bucks give or take the F/X rates. That's less than the toll one way on the Ambassador Bridge the last time I was over.

Glad Canada Post is up and running. Ordered another one from them. I'll probably get it faster than the ones that I ordered from St. Louis. Talisman only ships when all coins in the order are available and I believe the $0.50 coin is not set to be shipped until sometime in April.

Interesting that Canada Post ships everything for free while the mint charges $8 bucks. Even the free lettermail codes don't seem to work for any clamshelled coins. I'm trying to buy everything I want from the mint to see if I can get Master club status, but they make it so costly. I lost out on the niobium Wolf because I was trying to wait for the Titanic coins to release to the general public and combine shipping.
