I'm curious as to who has found coins while roll hunting, that were worth (in terms of monetary value) getting sent away and graded? What coin was it, and do you have pictures? I pretty much want eye candy.

I found a Three Cent Nickel in a roll of dimes. I saw a smooth nickely rim but shiny so I thought it was some newer island 'play' money. I was just getting into coins so was unfamiliar with the liberty head design but as I started to read I was awed at finding it to say "United States of America 1881." I was already hooked on finding silvers, but finding that got me interested in coins.

I know there is a thread in here about a 1992 CAM, that was found by one of our members. It auctioned off for BIG money!

Well, I started this thread to give me hopes, and encouragement that I too might find a coin worth a little bit, and sure enough, I might have! Here is a link to the thread: https://goccf.com/t/114624
