I just posted an article about this in the coins in the news section. Most dealers believe this to be an ebay thing. Nothing really special about it, considering the low relief.

I just saw the article that you posted and was coming over here to get the link to post in that thread. I was sure that's what it was. I think it's amazing that it showed up on ebay right at the same time as the article. This kind of stuff really disgusts me.
