Do you grade red LWC's differently, or do they follow the regular grade and then some collectors just put a premium on them because of the red?

Either way, would like your opinions on the following:

Coin 1:

Red-LWC-Grades?

Red-LWC-Grades?

Coin 2:

Red-LWC-Grades?

And are the ones (like the first coin) with surface dirt on them worth cleaning in order to attempt to make them more visually appealing?

These coins actually look red.

Most of the time when a coin is referred to as 'red' it is referring to the red, orange, gold like colour of lustre not like the coin pictured.

The deep red color you're seeing is due to heavy oxidation of the copper. We do not refer to these as "red", that is designation is reserved for mint red, mint state coins. We would simply call this toning.

I'd call it red "paint", not "toning".
