These things have appeared on the forum a few times before, and caused confusion until we got someone who could read Persian properly. It's an Iranian good luck token, intended to be thrown around at a traditional Persian-style wedding. The mirror-and-candlesticks depicted on the reverse is a traditional Persian wedding table decoration. See this older thread for another example. See also this website.
