The Ben Franklin 1961 rainbow PCGS no grade for color showed up today, the coin in the first pic, and it is really fantastic and easily one of the best looking pieces of silver I have ever owned, especially of the numismatic toned version, really phenomenal that color is on the front, and very much so on the bell on the back. The front has this great golden/pink color on Ben's face, and this great blueish/purple ring around the outside. And the color on the back in the middle of the bell, is some of the nicest colored tone that I have seen as of yet....

Lol. John got you, Hawk. The Carson City mint was set up to mint coins from the Comstock Lode silver and gold mines in the 1870s to mid 1890s. Not sure when the CC mint was closed but probably about the time those mines played out.
