As I mentioned lately, I don't mind downsizing on silver total amount, as long as I keep adding nicer items of silver on each sell and this is where I am at these days.... Old Ben Below here with code 91 (no grade questionable color) Four oz. Liberty round plated in platinum from Washington mint seems like Got three of these great rounds from Pobox in the Somalia, Figi, and Britannia. Also gilded Maple leaf 2009 and Libertad, real nice design I like them all..... 1986,87,88,90,91,92,93,2000,01,02,03,04 proof eagles.... Kooks 2009,10,11,12.... Two oz. Lunar dragon 2nd series This Morgan looks like grade candidate to my novice eye.... AT Morgan AT Morgan Natural toned 1966 Canadian silver dollar Real nice IMO NGC 1893 Columbian half dollar expo commemorative graded MS-63. Mintage 4.5 million lol in 1893, and only nine hundred an fifty thousand the other year in 1892..... Another nice gradable Morgan perhaps.... Too bad this Peace dollar is a 1928-S, as the 1928 and 1928CC are the bigger money key date versions I think.... Edited by Silverhawk74 03/13/2012 12:19 am

Nice silver. I "collect" silver bullion too and especially 90% in BU! I've always been fond of this piece I paid $40/oz for:

Lol I do most days Amaths an welcome to CCF! BH1964 I am a big fan of that piece as I have seen it for sale before out of the UK. Four oz. seems like the size. I love the detail on the ship side.....

You are paying a premium for those coins like you said, but when you re-sell them you will also get paid a premium. So, your not really losing anything.
And you get to look at great coins!

Love the Lunar dragon! I'll admit, though, when I read the thread title I thought you were gonna show one of these:

My bad John, as I thought Carson city produced Peace dollars in 1928, guess not eh.... I had looked it up on our grey sheet at work, but the print is so fine I just mis-read it, common mistake by me as I need to pay MORE attention to details, lol.... Thanks all! I got both those AT coins from cwbyup1051 who sells on ebay as you may see his name on the pics. I copy an pasted it, as the only pics I took above, is of my proof set of eagles. Faster for me that way as I accidentally deleted my re-size program. An most of the time I don't have to downsize the stock images, in-order to get them to load up in the CCF re-size program. I love it, but sometimes files are too large for it as well, an you basically end up downsizing twice....

I love that array of proof Eagles. I'd just take them out periodically and gaze at them if they were mine.

Thanks TBK! An yes Newmismatis I like Pobox look for any excuse to take them out of hiding for a view. I rarely keep anything for a real long period of time, so I enjoy it while it is around....
It is certainly not easy, but I have just about figured out a way to keep silver an other items for sale an moving out from time to time, and always new stuff coming back in, via perpetual cycle of sorts. That also allows me to get my hands on many different items I have always liked, even if it is just for a short while....
I of course will hold real special items, esp if they have the POTENTIAL to sky rocket in value in a SHORT period of time....
Like I would like to get a Ural owl, and the new baby hedgehog release, and just enjoy for a long while an see how high thy could go. Today that would be about a grand investment, but if they ever hit the value of the 2007 coin, you would have about five grand in two oz. of silver, with the potential to get higher. Be funny to see how high they would list at if silver ever hit 75 an oz. or higher.....

BH1964,
I've seriously considered getting that $5 Bermuda. I have a program that stores prices on every coin I'm interested in and I went back in looked at its selling price and wondered why I didn't bid.
2009- $100 2010- $133.50 2011- $260
Quite a jump, huh?
