OK, I bought my first coin in almost exactly 1 month, and its a Fausta AE3 in pretty darn good shape from what I can see. I have attributed it as RIC VII 40, struck at Cyzicus:
OBV: FLAV MAX FAVSTA AVG. Bare-headed and mantled bust right REV: SPES REIP-VBLICAE, Fausta standing facing, head left, holding two infants in arms
The seller had it mis-identified with a reverse of Salvus Reipvblicae which, to me, is obviously wrong. The seller also identified the mintmark as SMKA dot. I'm not convinced it is an "A". It may also be a Delta or a Gamma from the seller's image. Anyone with younger eyes care to opine?
