Its a Gordian III denarius with a Pietas reverse. Good detail.

That looks correct :)

Is there any easy way to tell if its fake or real?
The details are almost to good to be true......

And if it`s real..
Anyone who knows if it`s rare or an "ordinary" coin?

I can't tell it's authenticity from the image, although, I don't like the looks of the portrait. I can't say why, but it doesn't look right to me. Some Gordian III coins are in fact counterfeited. Do you have a way of weighing and measuring the coin. We may be able to tell based on any weight or size variation. Also, you can take a look at these two sites to see if there may be any reports of a die match to your coin:

Gordian III coins are rather plentiful and are usually cheaper because of this fact. If your coin is authentic, it is in very good condition with good detail which could result in a slightly higher retail value.

It could just be the photo, but as JW said the portait does look odd. The details look sharp so I don't believe it is a cash coin. If it's fake it is an excellent example.

Blaff, good detective work!
Comparing the drapery on the bust--it appears to be an exact match.
