I have this camera and have had it for about 3 years. Recently it has stopped working and I replaced the Li-ion battery and still no go. The lens will come out, but camera will not function and when you shut it off the lens will not retract.

Does anyone have experience with this camera or might know what the problem is?

Hi there

My kodak Z740 had the same problem I sent it back and they replaced the lens motor, had exactly the same problem!!

Sorry about that, I was lucky that I had a waranty on mine still

Yeah, I'm afraid it might cost as much to fix the lens motor as it would to replace the camera, if it isn't under warranty.
