Yes because it is a Minneapolis bill without the A.
It is my first $100 bill Series of 2009.
I paid $125 for this bill.

Picked this up recently. It's in an early CGA holder, before they started using the PQ paper designation. This is one of those comparatively thin holders which shows the paper wave clearly through the plastic. Bright color, perfect reverse centering, hard to find anything wrong with this.  |

Congrats, your GC is awesome.  I have some of them, but none of them is in perfect condition. I have a $10 GC, Series of 1922 in nearly perfect condition. I know the $100 bill 2009 was expensive but I live in Europe, so I have to pay this price. |

Well, $125 doesn't seem that much if you really wanted it.
I much prefer the large $10s for sure.

Another National from the old home town. A type I in decent condition. I really want a large type National from Yakima, but Kelly only shows 12 known from all charters. I imagine big bucks for one of those. Anyway, I continue to keep my eye out for Washington State Nationals.  |

Nice 1st issue @Conner My latest is a Type 2 National in an old style PCGS holder. These older holders are really flimsy. The note is one of the lowest grades I've seen receiving a PPQ designation....the centering is terrible.   |

Steve - Interesting. For sure these old elongated holders are a pain - won't fit in any display album.
I suppose the use of the PPQ designation on low-grade notes might be important in the case of a scarce or rare note, but it always looks sort of incongruous to me.

I agree frog, that a PPQ on a lower grade Fine (15) note is out of the norm.....I kinda look at it as a consolation prize for just missing a VF (20) grade.
