In June 2012 the BEP decided to print a run of 1000 replacement sheets. That's a very short run. Only 32,000 notes. Star run collectors will appreciate this. Excellent!  |

Bought these in December from a member post on the BST on a different forum. Very minor upper right corner bump and centering issues on all of them, but hey, at $5 bucks each, I couldn't pass them up.  |

A very collectible series, unlike its cousins the 1928A and 1928C series, which have some jaw-droppers.

We are all fortunate to have techwriter, and many others here that unselfishly share interesting and informative information concerning all things paper. Collectible and Histoic paper in all its forms, currency, checks, souvenir cards, intaglio prints and a host of others. Thank you CCF members.

jimbucks -- absolutely; since most are NOT the GEM, etc. class why spend the $$$ on a holder (well, maybe the Star notes) Coinfrog -- yes, a very collectible series and I especially like the hunt for the face plate varieties. edit to correct 'operator' spelling errors.
